Wednesday, September 17, 2014
(Register NOW)

Whether you are planning to obtain your first guardian ad litem certification or you need to become re-certified, South Texas College of Law’s 2014 Guardian and Attorney Ad Litem Certification Course offers strong foundational topics and provides answers to practical questions. Attendees will obtain the necessary tools to initiate, administer, modify, restore, and close guardianships and will also hear from experienced practitioners about alternatives to guardianships.

Of special interest to many is the panel of psychiatrists who will thoroughly explain and explore the reasons for and dealing with capacity assessments.

Notaries public will be available at the conclusion of the 4.0-hour program (including .50 hours of legal ethics) so attendees will have everything needed to submit their notarized affidavit for certification** to the State Bar of Texas the same day.
