Ethical issues abound throughout the entire litigation process. In this interactive session of Just Ethics, George T. Jackson of Burck Lapidus & Lanza, will address many of the ethical issues litigators routinely face before, during, and after trial such as: the importance of knowing who the client is (when representing a corporation) and communicating that to corporate executives; when a lawyer must or can withdraw from representing a client based on the client's insistence in presenting false testimony; the value of stipulating to undisputed facts in reducing overall costs of litigation; when lawyers are allowed to speak with jurors from their trials - and what they can be asked; when lawyers can be witnesses (and when they cannot be called); and, if and when liens on a client's file are allowed.
