South Texas College of Law Wins
International Arbitration Brief Writing Honors

November 12, 2012—South Texas College of Law students were honored in Warsaw, Poland this past weekend with Best Brief writing awards. At the inaugural DCFRA International Arbitration Moot competition, students Jason Rowe and Joshua Woods were presented the top writing prizes for both their claimant’s brief and their respondent’s brief. Four other students helped to write the winning briefs for the international arbitration competition: Anthony Cacciatore, Jason Klein, Sean Wilson, and Justin Works. The international competition included teams from Poland, Hungary, Germany, the Netherlands, and Kosovo and was hosted by the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. Adjunct Professor Stacey Barnes coached with team.
