The Office of Marketing and Communications team at South Texas College of Law Houston received two top honors Thursday at the 2024 Bronze Quill Awards hosted by the Houston International Association of Business Communication (IABC).
The MarCom team earned two Awards of Excellence, the highest IABC Houston recognition: for the Centennial edition of InRe magazine (Terri Parris, editor-in-chief; James McAnear, senior graphic designer; Dr. Michelle Morris, consulting editor); and for a feature story in the same publication titled “Celebrating a Century,” written by Parris.
When presenting the awards, the judges shared positive feedback about the quality and readability of the magazine and the article.
The IABC Houston Bronze Quill winners represent the best of the best in the field of communication. The IABC Houston Bronze Quill offers the opportunity to be recognized for achievements in communications across 28 categories.
Bronze Quill entries are evaluated by some of the top communicators across the country and are ranked on their own merit using the IABC International Blue Ribbon Panel criteria. Award entries come in from major corporate marketing offices, national PR and marketing agencies, and local businesses and nonprofits.
